Michael is a quiet little boy who has been very tearful since he entered foster care. The adjustment has been very hard for him. He is very connected to his siblings and doesn't like to be away from them for any period of time. He was removed from his mom's care due to her substance abuse and neglect. He is a bit delayed for his age and needs some therapeutic supports to help him catch up with skills.

Michael recently moved to a new home with nothing but the clothes he was wearing. He has many sensory sensitivities and is very particular about what he wears, so finding clothes that feel right to him matters a great deal. With the weather turning cooler, his caregiver wants to take him to Target to find a warm coat and new shoes he finds comfortable enough to wear. Soft, familiar clothing that fits his body can make each day feel a little easier as he settles in.
