Sofia was moved to her home right before the school year began. She was moved halfway across the state because her previous home gave notice that she was pregnant. Upon the move, Sofia found out she had miscarried, but she was still moved to a new home. Sofia has had an extremely difficult time at her new home and is working to move forward and build a new, normal life in her new foster home.

Sofia is asking for a phone so she can talk to her family from a distance and message the friends she's made at school. She's not picky, and while she's asked for an iPhone, any unlocked used phone would work for her. Staying connected would mean a lot after being moved so far from what she knows. A refurbished phone would give her a lifeline to the people who matter.
