Silver Lining MentoringGriffin is a very intelligent and happy boy who has been in the foster care system for years through many different placements. He has experienced a lot of loss, but he holds the connections he makes close. He loves playing his Nintendo, building Legos, being outside, going on adventures, and making new friends.
Griffin is on the autism spectrum, and building is one of his favorite things to do. At the group home, he can often be found with a pile of Legos, working on something by himself or alongside his friends. When he is out with his mentor, he is always scanning the shelves for a unique set that will challenge him. A Minecraft Lego set under the tree this Christmas would give him a new project to dive into, with plenty of pieces to sort, follow, and build. He would have something to work on through the winter break and a finished creation to be proud of.
