Josie is a sweet girl who was placed into foster care after a week in the hospital. Josie was born with some challenges and is keeping her foster family very busy with lots of appointments. She is the youngest in the home and definitely loved by all other older children. She is bright-eyed and loves to be swaddled and rocked at night.

Josie is turning 1 soon, and her family wants to celebrate and honor her native heritage through play that is just right for her age. Josie loves peekaboo and climbing into things, so a teepee is a perfect fit. It gives her a cozy spot to crawl in and out of, pop out and surprise her family, and make it her very own. As she grows, it can become a place for pretend play, quiet story time with her siblings, and a soft place to land. It would also let her family share a piece of their culture with her from the start.
