Mahkiyah is a very well-spoken teenage girl. She is polite and very wise for her age. Mahkiyah has a very positive relationship with her siblings and is not afraid to open up to others. She excels in school and is able to ask for help when needed. She is involved in the community and enjoys being around others. Mahkiyah is a talented writer and enjoys writing poetry and song lyrics. She also enjoys theatrical hobbies, and is very artistic. Mahkiyah is part of a sibling group of 6 that had been placed in separate homes for almost a year, before finally being placed in a home all together. The siblings are all very bonded and so happy to be in the same home!

This sibling group of 6 has been separated into 3 different homes for the past year. Finally, a home decided to take a chance on them and accepted them all together as a placement. After being apart for so long, they are so happy to finally be together and be a family again. Their foster parents are super excited to enrich their childhoods with fun experiences and they just bought plane tickets to go to Disney in May! These kiddos have never been on a plane and this trip is going to be a surprise....(if their foster parents can keep this exciting secret.) We are asking for Disney gift cards to help the family with the cost of the trip. They are planning a 7 day trip and going to the parks 2 days.
