Having lived in many different homes while in foster care, she has learned to adapt to change while holding onto her creativity, humor, and hope for the future. She dreams of becoming a photographer who can tell meaningful stories through her work. As she builds her life on her own, photography gives Thalia a way to preserve the moments that matter and see beauty even during difficult times.

Through every move and new beginning, Thalia’s cat has been a constant source of comfort and companionship. When so much in her life has changed, her furry friend has helped make unfamiliar places feel a little more like home. Now, Thalia would love the chance to give back to the companion who has always been by her side.
