Michael grew up in kinship care with his siblings and faced challenges in his non-traditional upbringing. He dreamed of becoming an NFL football player and dedicated much of his childhood to the sport. Unfortunately, during high school, he suffered a torn ACL that forced him to stop playing. This setback opened new opportunities for him. After recovering, he discovered a passion for home remodeling and started his own business. He enjoys transforming houses and a variety of projects and seeing the results of his work. Although he didn’t achieve his NFL dream, he finds fulfillment in building beautiful and functional homes.

Michael grew up in kinship care with his siblings, and from a young age he dreamed of playing in the NFL. He spent much of his childhood on football, and the Denver Broncos have been his favorite team ever since. A torn ACL in high school ended that dream, but it also opened a door he never expected. After recovering, he discovered a passion for home remodeling, started his own business, and loves watching a house become a beautiful, functional home through his work. Now Michael wants a Broncos duffel bag for his trips, sturdy and roomy enough to keep his clothes, shoes, and essentials organized. It would let him carry the team he's always cheered for wherever he goes, and it would remind him that although his path looked different than he planned, he's built something he can be proud of.
