Nataly spent 10 years in foster care, overcoming challenges including homelessness, an abusive relationship, and mental health struggles. As the first in her family to graduate from college, she earned three associate degrees and is now pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. With encouragement from her CASA, Nataly discovered her passion for advocating for children and families and hopes to create positive change in the foster care system. She dreams of becoming a foster mother and opening a rescue farm where animals can find safety and love. Through her resilience and compassion, Nataly hopes to inspire others and show that their past does not define their future.

Nataly works extremely hard, both in terms of her education and career. While she strives for financial freedom, she has currently been living on a paycheck to paycheck basis. Without extra funds, it can be difficult for Nataly to afford to do her laundry. She is hoping for a portable washer and dryer to ensure she always has access to clean clothes. This would help ensure Nataly always feels clean, confident, and ready for any class or job.
