Benjamin is a bright, resilient boy who entered foster care with his younger brother due to parental substance abuse, neglect, and domestic violence. After an initial placement with relatives could not meet their needs, the boys transitioned to another foster home. Benjamin is a caring big brother who loves playing and exploring with his sibling. Due to inconsistent school attendance before entering care, he is working hard to catch up academically. He also faces challenges with emotional regulation but continues to make progress with patience, consistency, and support from his foster family.

Benjamin would love to dress up as Sonic, a character from his favorite video game, for Halloween! This costume would let him bring the fun of the game to life and imagine himself as the speedy blue hedgehog. Dressing as a character he loves would make Halloween extra special and give him a costume he is excited to wear.
