VA DSS - Chesapeake City CountyDamari is a very smart young man who is currently living in a foster home with his younger sibling. He loves school and wants to be an attorney to help other children who are in foster care. Damari loves being a big brother and helps his younger brother with homework and chores. He misses his family but understands his mother is getting the help she needs. Damari loves playing video games and basketball.
Damari decided not to go to the school Halloween party or the Halloween party at the neighborhood recreation center because he didn't have the LED mask all his friends were wearing. Damari was trying to save money from his allowance, but he couldn't save enough for the mask. Despite being in foster care, Damari hasn't let his circumstances stop him from working hard in school and earning good grades. Damari just wants to be like his friends, and having the LED mask will give him the chance, even if just for one day, to be one of the "guys."
