Akaiyah is a sweet child with special needs. She loves her family and friends and enjoys learning and attending school. Akaiyah loves going to church with her aunt. Akaiyah has been in foster care since 2024. Before that, she was residing with her mother and siblings, and they mostly stayed in homeless shelters. Akaiyah has a bubbly personality; she is shy and eager to learn more every day.

Akaiyah would love to have a gold cross necklace to wear close to her heart. Faith has been the thing she holds onto on the hardest days of a tough childhood in foster care, and church is where she has found a family and friends who accept and love her. She also loves to read, do crafts, and join community outings. A cross necklace would be a daily reminder of the faith that carries her through and the people who have made her feel she belongs.
