Michael recently entered kinship care alongside his younger brother after experiencing abuse and serious safety concerns at home. As he adjusts to a new environment, his brother by his side provides important comfort and connection. Despite the difficult circumstances he has faced, Michael deserves the chance to enjoy being a kid, explore new interests, and make happy memories.

When asked what he needs for his new home, Michael often focuses on his little brother and making sure they feel safe and secure together. After everything they have been through, knowing they can stay together means so much to him. When asked what he would like just for fun, Michael finally made a wish of his own: LEGOs that he and his little brother could build and play with together. This set would let Michael simply be a kid while giving the brothers chances to laugh, explore their creativity, and make happy memories as they settle into a home where they can begin to feel safe again.
