Sarah was removed from her home due to concerns of abuse as well as substance misuse in her home. She is a smart, motivated, and inspiring young woman. She wants to make something of her life, despite her circumstances, which brought her into care. Sarah enjoys learning about cosmetology, especially hair cutting and styling.

Sarah recently moved into her own transitional housing apartment, and she has long waited to have a place to call her own. She loves coffee and can't wait to make her own espresso drinks at home, so an espresso machine would be the perfect way to start her mornings in her new space. Brewing her favorite drinks in her own kitchen would also let her save money she would otherwise spend going out for coffee. More than a machine, it would bring warmth to the apartment and make it feel more like home.
