Although she is afraid of these new changes, she wants to pursue a different life. Lachae enjoys music, dancing, and doing hair, and she wants to return to the things she loves. As someone who has been antisocial due to bullying, she longs for a change and is determined to embrace it. She desires to connect with other teenagers her age and experience something different.

Lashay loves going to school sports games, and she is learning to step outside her comfort zone by joining teams as well. She enjoys all kinds of sports, and as temperatures drop, she wishes for warm sports apparel. She has grown bigger than last year, so her old gear no longer fits. Staying warm would let her enjoy every game, whether she is in the stands or on the field. She can't afford warm apparel right now, so this wish would mean a great deal. It would support her as she keeps showing up and trying new things.
