Avery spent time in a residential facility and is now in a foster home. She is a girl who loves to read and engage in crafty projects. She can easily lose herself for hours in a book or while working on art. Always quick to encourage and assist others, she sometimes struggles with self-confidence and doesn't always see herself the way others do or believe she is good enough. At times, she can feel down and out of place, but a hug or a listening ear can help pull her out of her thoughts. Her heart is as big as her smile, and she is always ready to help a friend or a stranger in need. Having experienced loneliness and feelings of being left behind, she is determined to ensure that no one else feels that way. Although life has brought her many tears, she always manages to find a reason to smile!

Avery is so excited about her new home and her very own bedroom, and she is just as excited about her birthday. Doing her hair and makeup is one of the things that makes her feel special. She still remembers the small princess vanity she had as a little girl, which made her feel like a grown-up. Now that she is older, she is ready for a real “grown-up” vanity, a place of her own to sit, get ready, and feel her best. It would be the perfect finishing touch for her new bedroom and a birthday gift she'd open with a big smile.
