Kat was recently placed in a foster home after chronic homelessness. Kat attends High School and is doing her best to do well. She likes talking on the phone, arts and crafts, and participating in the Girl Scouts. Kat feels safe in her new foster home and is looking forward to her future.

Kat has been placed in foster care with a new foster mother, and she doesn’t have much winter clothing to get her through the cold season. As the weather changes, she needs essentials, including warm clothes and sturdy shoes, to stay comfortable at school and at home. Having the basics she needs for fall and winter would let Kat settle into her new home feeling warm, prepared, and cared for. It is a practical need her new foster mom is working to meet, and it would give her a strong start to the season.
