Winter is just about the most precious little girl ever! She is ever so tiny, but the girl is a fighter. Her entrance into this world came with challenges, and she continues to fight each day. While her exposure to substances before her birth is the primary reason she is in foster care, she is thriving in her current placement. With time, effort, and lots of love, she’s bound to grow big and strong!

Winter is home in her foster placement after her time in the NICU, where she was treated after being exposed to substances before she was born. She is clearly missing the comfort of the special swing that soothed her there. That swing was her magic ticket to relaxing and sleeping, and since coming home a few days ago, she hasn’t been able to find a restful sleep. When she isn’t sleeping well, she doesn’t eat as much, and at only five pounds, she needs every feeding to keep growing strong. A baby swing is urgently needed to give her the soothing motion she knows, so she can rest peacefully, eat well, and settle into her new home.
