Fostering Hope - MontcoWinter is just about the most precious little girl ever! She is ever so tiny, but the girl is a fighter. Her entrance into this world came with challenges, and she continues to fight each day. While her exposure to substances before her birth is the primary reason she is in foster care, she is thriving in her current placement. With time, effort, and lots of love, she’s bound to grow big and strong!
Winter was born prematurely and spent her first weeks in the NICU, and she was so tiny that no one was sure she would thrive. Because of challenges she faced before she was born, her start in life was anything but easy, but this sweet girl has beaten all of the odds. She recently came home from the hospital with her foster family, and she is growing big and strong. Right now she is drinking so much, and every bottle is fuel for the growing she still has to do. Her foster family is working to get services in place, and formula would keep her fed and thriving in the meantime.

She’s still so tiny and only wearing preemie clothes. Thank you so much for supporting her and helping her heal and flourish!"
