A Pet Alive Dog for Faye who is reunited with her family and misses the dog she loved at her foster home

Faye, 7 years old, CA

Faye entered foster care after being found along with her 3 other siblings to be living in a 10 foot by 12 foot room that had no running water or electricity for over a year. The children were living in unsanitary and unsafe conditions, and their mother’s substance use was within their reach. Through the hard work of the mother and her support team, Faye and her siblings are now being placed back in her care. While this is an exciting new chapter for their family, they are rebuilding their home one step at a time.

Faye was recently returned to her mother’s care, and she is happy, thriving, and thrilled to be reunited with her mother and siblings. Even so, she sometimes struggles to open up about her feelings and can be hard to reach. Her family is rebuilding their home and has very few toys, and she misses the dog she adored at the foster home where she lived for more than two years. Her holiday wish is a Pet Alive Dog, a cuddly companion to comfort her during this big transition. She loves all things girly, and having a puppy of her own to hold and care for would let her feel like a kid again.
