Hattie has already been through more than any little girl should. She entered foster care at a very young age and has lived in more than one home. Her foster family has noticed that she watches closely at mealtimes and sometimes asks, in a tiny voice, whether she can stay for dinner tomorrow too. She is still learning that “tomorrow” is something she can count on. Predictable routines, patient grown-ups, and plenty of cuddles help her feel safe, and each day she grows a little bolder. Hattie loves to draw with her whole hand, giggle at silly cartoon puppies, and set up make-believe worlds where she is in charge. She is bright, sweet, and always ready to share her snacks with a stuffed friend.

Hattie takes her pretend meetings very seriously, and a play purse with accessories would give her the perfect supplies. With a little wallet, keys, a phone, and other tiny treasures, she could carry her whole world with her wherever she goes. Pretend play helps young children make sense of grown-up life, practice language, and feel confident. For a girl who has had so little that is truly her own, a purse filled with special things is a joyful place to keep them safe.
