Kaliyah really loves making things and is wishing for a no-sew fleece blanket kit so she can make herself a warm blanket to snuggle up with. She is currently receiving treatment and has been in and out of foster care for a while.
Kaliyah is 23 years old and lives in MN
Kaliyah enjoys playing all types of sports especially basketball, football and track and field. When she's not playing sports, she enjoys making arts and crafts and giving advice to her friends and others. When she grows up, she wants to be a Children's Adolescent Mental Health Therapist because she loves helping people, especially younger kids. Helping people always makes her feel good about herself too. Kaliyah says, "You can always be someone's sunshine when their skies are grey. "

I made the blanket with one of my staff and a couple of peers and it was so much fun and they really liked the blanket. Now my therapist wants me to do a group on it with all my peers on how to make a fleece blanket. I love my blanket so much. It's soooo warm! I feel so safe going to sleep with it, my own blanket.
