Sonia has recently come into YFS care for the second time in her 10 years. She struggled when she first came into care opening up and letting people talk to her. She has since made significant improvements and is able to open up about what she likes and even make friends. Sonia likes things that make her comfortable, like stuffed animals and art projects. In school, she really enjoys reading and art!

Sonia is wishing for a new winter coat because she has grown so much since last winter and needs one that fits comfortably. Red is her favorite color, so she picked out a red parka that matches her personal style. Since parka coats are popular at school, having one of her own would help Sonia stay warm, feel confident, and fit in with her peers throughout the colder months.
