Brissa, 22 years old, CA | 2 DAYS WAITING

Brissa was in foster care all her life and then transitioned into supports through extended foster care. When those housing supports ended, she found herself on the streets and is currently homeless after escaping domestic violence with her ex-partner. She loves listening to music, spending time with her two dogs, and tattoos. She is hoping to get towards more stability and build a bright and safe future for herself

Brissa recently experienced a brief period of stability after spending 14 days in a hotel following about a month of homelessness. Now that her hotel voucher has expired, she is back on the streets with her two dogs while waiting for her housing case manager to help secure permanent housing. A Petco gift card would help Brissa provide food for her dogs during this difficult time, and she would be deeply grateful for the support as she works toward finding a stable place to call home.
