Drew has experienced foster care throughout his life, and after his family recently lost their housing, he has been staying with friends and family to remain in school and continue playing football. Football is his true passion, and despite the challenges he is facing, Drew continues to show up for his games every weekend. His dedication to the sport reflects his determination to keep pursuing what he loves, even when life feels uncertain.

After a year of searching for affordable housing, Drew and his family were asked to leave the shelter where they had been staying, because their time there had run out. He will soon spend his 13th birthday bouncing between unstable places to stay, never knowing where he will sleep next. Drew’s biggest dream is a PS5, but he knows that is too much to ask for, so he is asking for a PlayStation Portal instead. Because he moves from place to place, a portable handheld is the best fit, since he can tuck it in his bag and take it everywhere. Video games are where he escapes into other worlds and finds a break from the chaos around him. With a Portal that goes where he goes, Drew would have one steady thing to hold on to and something to look forward to as he starts his 13th year.
