Soar and ElevateKhalil enjoys cooking, playing football, and helping out around the house. He especially likes spending time in the kitchen, helping prepare meals, and helping with the planning process. He is a thoughtful, caring member of his family who enjoys contributing and helping wherever he can. Khalil and his family are receiving support from Soar and Elevate as they navigate a difficult time, and additional community support helps him continue exploring his interests and enjoying the activities he loves.
Khalil is hoping to shop at Food Lion with his family for groceries like cereal, snacks, fruit, and ingredients to make dinner. He loves helping pick out food and would use the ingredients to help cook meals at home. His caregiver is working to stretch the grocery budget, so this would help keep the kitchen stocked this season. Having some of his favorite foods at home would make Khalil really happy.
