Gisele is a quiet, bright, creative, and gentle young girl who shares a deep bond with her siblings and family. Since entering foster care and being separated from her mother, she has experienced several moves between family homes and faced many transitions and losses. Through it all, Gisele has shown incredible bravery and resilience. She has become more open to trying new activities, meeting new friends, and exploring the world around her. She loves learning and continues to blossom into a social butterfly, discovering new skills, interests, and talents every day.

Gisele has been using stones, fidgets, and other sensory tools since they were recommended by her therapist. She especially enjoys playdough and stress toys, which help her self-soothe during moments of distress. When asked what she would like for her birthday this year, Gisele shared that she would love to add to her collection of fidget and sensory toys. She has recently discovered NeeDoh toys, which she enjoys using during therapy sessions but does not yet have of her own. Having some to keep would give Gisele new tools to help her manage big feelings, and she would be excited to share them with her siblings, who also enjoy the benefits of sensory toys.
