Voices for Children - San DiegoGlory is a fun-loving and sensitive teen with a great sense of humor and a wide range of interests. She enjoys listening to music, gaming, spending time with friends, and grabbing her favorite Starbucks drinks. She loves children and hopes to one day become a child therapist or tattoo artist. Glory is also an avid swimmer and is excited about the possibility of becoming a lifeguard. She has a special interest in dinosaurs and reptiles and recently welcomed a pet corn snake into her life, taking great pride in caring for him. Glory has experienced significant challenges in foster care, including changes in her home, school, and community that left her feeling uprooted and disconnected from familiar people. Through these transitions, she continues to find joy in her interests and has developed a meaningful bond with her new pet.
Glory has developed a special bond with her recently adopted pet snake, who has become a calming and comforting presence in her life. She loves carrying him around, introducing him to friends, and using her allowance to make sure he has the food and care he needs. As her snake grows, he will eventually need a larger home to keep him comfortable. A 60-gallon reptile aquarium with a cabinet would give Glory a suitable space to care for her growing pet while providing a setup she can keep and take with her as she becomes more independent.
