Santiago enjoys playing Minecraft and Pokémon, as well as making slime and building with Legos. He is an excellent student who loves going to school to continue his education. He and his family are being supported by LA County DCFS.
Santiago finally has a bedroom of his own because his family could get a home. He would love a trundle bed for his new room, so he no longer has to sleep on the floor during the cold winter nights. A bed frame would lift him off the chilly floor and give him a warm, comfortable place to rest. A trundle bed also has a second bed that slides out underneath, which gives him extra room for a sibling, a cousin, or a friend to stay over. It would make his new room feel complete, a place that is truly his. For a boy whose family has worked so hard to find a home, a real bed would be a joyful first step in making it his own.
