Miriam has just been granted the opportunity to see her mother after an entire year of being apart. We are hoping to support a reunification in the coming months. Miriam had an iPad, but it broke. We are hoping that with a new tablet, she will be able to keep in contact with mom in between visits; her Caseworker is in support of this. This is Miriam's first time in care, and she is really homesick!

Miriam has been in care for over three years on an off, along with her little brother. Though this dynamic duo has lived with three different families, they are in their forever home now and hope to be adopted this summer! Miriam is such a delight- she is always joking around with her foster dad, helps out with all the younger kids in the home, and works hard to stretch her limits academically and in life in general! She was scheduled to go on a missions trip to Mexico just before Covid hit, so that is tabled, but she is looking forward to experiencing a different culture and helping out fellow humans. We are so proud of this kid and love having her- it's been a joy to watch her grow into a young woman with huge potential!
