Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul on tough Stuff is a great book for teens going through a hard time, and would really benefit Mahkiyah.
Mahkiyah is 21 years old and lives in OH
Mahkiyah is a very well-spoken teenage girl. She is polite and very wise for her age. Mahkiyah has a very positive relationship with her siblings and is not afraid to open up to others. She excels in school and is able to ask for help when needed. She is involved in the community and enjoys being around others. Mahkiyah is a talented writer and enjoys writing poetry and song lyrics. She also enjoys theatrical hobbies, and is very artistic. Mahkiyah is part of a sibling group of 6 that had been placed in separate homes for almost a year, before finally being placed in a home all together. The siblings are all very bonded and so happy to be in the same home!
