Damion has lived with his grandparents for 2 1/2 years after being removed from his parents. Damion and his siblings were removed due to allegations of drug use and domestic violence. Damion is a super sweet three year old who loves animals. He likes to help his older siblings care for the animals they raise for 4-H projects and hopes to join 4-H when he is old enough. He is a joy to be around and can light up a room with his smile and bright eyes.

Damion suffers from anxiety and sensory integration issues. He has received occupational, developmental and physical therapy to address these issues. His therapist recommended adding a weighted blanket to assist the grandparents in helping Damion as he develops more skills related to coping and development. A weighted blanket will help Damion feel more grounded and secure when he goes to bed and when he starts to get overwhelmed. The blanket will feel like a hug that he can tolerate when a physical touch may be more than he can handle.
