Messiah is gaining independence every day! She has a difficult time being separated from her mom and struggles whenever she is put down, which makes meal time especially difficult. A new high chair would help the transition to meal time, allowing Messiah to learn to eat more independently and help to create a safer environment while mom is cooking in the kitchen. The child-parent therapist will help with this transition and work with mom and Messiah to ensure happy, healthy, and successful meal times.
Messiah is 7 years old and lives in PA
Messiah lives with her mom and her five siblings in a basement apartment of a friend. She was recently reunified with her mom after spending several months in foster care. At such a young age, this separation was very hard on Messiah. She and her mom have always had a very close relationship. She loves to snuggle up close with mom and is thriving now that she is back with the one person who can provide her with the most love and nurturing. Mom is doing well and providing a safe home now that they are all together once again.
