Jasmine is about to "age out" and be on her own at the end of October. This is an equally exciting and scary event for her, since she will be on her own for the first time. Jasmine always has a smile on her face, which is contagious to those around her.
Jasmine is preparing to "age out" of foster care. She has many basic needs being supplied to her by the state or various other programs. Jasmine wishes to have a TV for her new apartment, which is not seen as a "necessity" and will not be provided to her. She has never had her own TV in the 13 years she had been in foster care. She enjoys playing video games and watching movies on Netflix.
