Sincere has lingered in placement for over 2 years since being removed from his mother due to chronic homelessness. Sincere has 6 younger siblings and often acted as a secondary caregiver of the children in the home when his mother was having difficulty. The child was separated from his siblings and has regressed in school with his grades and sports due to ongoing worry about his siblings and mother. He has requested an IPOD or a similar device that he can Skype, FaceTime, Text and communicate with his younger siblings and his mother and improve his mental well-being.
Sincere is 20 years old and lives in NJ
Sincere is a positive young man. Him and his 5 siblings were removed from their mother almost 3 years ago because of homelessness. Currently, their mother has been unable to obtain housing so that she can be reunified with her children. As a result, the children have continued to linger in placement. Sincere is separated from his younger siblings and has been having a hard time. As a result of this separation, he has had difficulties in school and his sports. Sincere has expressed his frustration and worry about not being able to speak his younger siblings and worries about them. He also worries about his mother and how she is managing being separated from the children.
