Zhané is a sweet girl who deserves the best. She has always been very shy and guarded. She has slowly come out of her shell with her Big Sister, Amanda, and they love when they are able to do silly, fun things together because Amanda gets to see her open up, laugh and have fun. Amanda knows Zhané would love to see the Blue Man Group, and she thinks this trip to NYC would be so exciting for Zhané, as she has never been before!
Zhané is 20 years old and lives in NJ
Zhané is a very smart young girl who has been matched with her Big Sister, Amanda, for an amazing year and a half in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program. In this time, Amanda says that she has seen Zhané blossom and become a more confident young woman before her eyes. When they first met, Zhané was very shy and struggling with her grades. Since they have been matched, Zhané has opened up to her Big Sister a lot, gotten her grades up, and just seems more confident overall. That being said, Zhané has also had some struggles during the time that they have been matched, including family illness and experiences with bullying.
