Skylar is clever and self-reliant. Skylar has had many challenges in her life but she is nothing short of resilient. Skylar has a younger sister, Graycee, who she absolutely adores. Because Skylar helped to care for her little sister she worries about her. She misses her deeply even though they have been living in different homes for many years. The one week a year that Skylar gets to spend with Graycee at camp is the highlight of her year. Skylar enjoys doing arts and crafts with her little sister and she likes having the opportunity to show her new things. Skylar is an excellent student and wants to go on to college and become a nurse.
