Homes for Children CorporationChrissy is a young, petite little lady who has been in foster care since she was little due to a history of abuse, neglect, and so many other traumas. She has had many suicidal attempts and negative thoughts, especially after a recent failed adoption. Chrissy has little trust in people and has a since built a wall. She has siblings throughout the system who she does not see often if at all. Chrissy is very intelligent and her favorite activity is reading.
Chrissy wants to have fun this summer with her friends. What better way to do that then to go to camp! Chrissy would benefit from going to camp by having fun with her friends but still having the structure she needs to keep a positive light on her life.
