New sneakers for Dameron who has never had shoes

Dameron has never own or worn shoes. He has always been barefoot. Coming into care recently has left Dameron very scared and relying on his older brother to speak for him. He came with only the clothing on his back and nothing else. Dameron will be starting daycare soon and will need to wear shoes to go. It would be great if Dameron were to be able to get his first pair of shoes before starting school so that he is able to get used to wearing them.
Dameron is 8 years old and lives in NC
Dameron is a sweet loveable little boy who is very shy. He enjoys watching cartoons while snuggling his blanket. Dinosaurs are one of his favorite things in the whole world. He loves holding the cat or dog and petting it. He is delayed in several areas including growth and has all ready spent several years in foster care.
