Aside from having many challenges as a foster youth, Amaya continues to flourish and excel. She currently has a 4.0 GPA and is involved in her high school basketball team and volunteers at her local YMCA. However, resources are limited, and she is in need of a laptop to help her keep excelling in school. Amaya works very hard to keep her grades up and deserves the best.

Amaya is a sweet, positive, and caring young lady who keeps persevering aside from having so many challenges at such a young age. She loves to laugh. Making other people smile, is one of her specialties. Amaya always has such a positive outlook on life. She has maintained a 4.0 GPA, plays on her high school basketball team, and helps kiddos at her local YMCA.
