A laptop for Marylena who strives to succeed at school and work

Posted Nov 21, 2018
Marylena is currently recovering from child birth and is anticipating getting a job and her own apartment. She states that she will do whatever it takes to make sure she completes her GED and attends technical college. A laptop will help support her goals by allowing her to complete her schoolwork at home, while caring for her two young children. Completing her GED will then help Marylena get a job and continue on to technical college, ultimately leading to financial security for her and her family.

Marylena is 21 years old and lives in Atlanta, GA

Marylena is a strong and loving mom of a three-year-old and a newborn. She is diligently seeking employment to financially provide for her two daughters. Marylena has set a goal to be a great role model for them. Marylena is engaged and active with her children and wants to show them that they are loved and nurtured.

"Dear Awesome Human, You are awesome! Your gift of the laptop for Marylena came just in time as she is putting in job applications and with the help of her Life Coach, updating her resume and working at securing steady employment to support her two little girls. She is so excited to have her own laptop and has talked about almost nothing else that someone gave her such an awesome gift. Your kindness and generosity mean so much to her and will not be forgotten. We are so grateful! Marylena and Molly"
