She states that she will do whatever it takes to make sure she completes her GED and attends technical college. A laptop will help support her goals by allowing her to complete her schoolwork at home, while caring for her two young children. Completing her GED will then help Marylena get a job and continue on to technical college, ultimately leading to financial security for her and her family.
