Jon loves everything military and dreams of being an army soldier one day so he can help protect and serve his country. He would love to have some military-style boots to wear to school and for everyday use. Granting this wish would bring such joy to a boy who has faced a lot of hardship due to no fault of his own.

Jon is a great kid who can be a little rough around the edges due to some instability in his past home life. Recently, he has been very motivated to prepare for his future. He just started an after school job working at the local pizza place. His foster parents have been helping him plan for his long-term goal of joining the military after he graduates.
