Jaylen loves softball, but hasn't been able to play for a few seasons due to instability in her family and her lack of a supportive family member. Fortunately, she lives with her grandma right now who wants the world for her. Jaylen is signed up for softball this summer, but she needs some basics like cleats and a helmet to get her up to speed with the other players. She would love to shop at the local sporting goods store and pick out some things for herself. A gift card would be perfect!

Jaylen is a quiet young lady who enjoys drawing and writing in a journal. She is interested in art and hopes to maybe be an art teacher someday. Jaylen has long brown hair and loves to have her grandma comb and braid it. Prior to her placement there, she had no one to help care for her long hair. She has trouble making friends due to moving around so much and struggles a bit in high school. Luckily she is very close to her twin brother, so she always has someone to talk to.
