Angela needs help securing a room for next semester. Through working 2 jobs, she will be able to attend her final year at Ramapo, but is short some funds that she needs to pay now. The wish will ensure that she is on her way with one more year to graduate!
Angela is 27 years old and lives in NJ
Angela is an incredibly resilient young woman. After a difficult upbringing and several years in foster care, Angela decided to forge her own path. She earned an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Ocean County College and is now a full-time student at Ramapo College majoring in Forensic Criminology. She struggles having to make ends meet on her own. She works several jobs including one where she works as a health caregiver. She also secured several scholarships and loans to help with room and board, and is determined to succeed.

"My name is Angela, I’m currently a junior (about to be a senior-woohoo!) at Ramapo College of New Jersey and thanks to One Simple Wish I was able to pay my housing deposit for next year to live on campus. I work two jobs and attend school full-time but having the $500 for a housing deposit by the deadline was extremely stressful, even after receiving extensions. One Simple Wish provided me with more than half of what I needed ($300!!!) and I was able to pay by the last extended deadline. This was a huge stress reliever as I knew I would be safe and secure to come back next year and live on campus. I wanted to personally thank One Simple Wish for their generosity and give an idea as to how important this was to me and how grateful I am for all that they’ve done. Thank you SO much! Now I can focus on finals! "
