Denice is as sweet as can be who tries to stay positive and strong as an example to her younger sibling. She is always very polite and the best listener. She is a fabulous student as well! All of her teachers love having her. Denice is nervous being somewhere new with all new people and she misses her family but she's trying her best to enjoy the little things.

Denice loves decorating her room, she says it makes it feel more like home. At home she used to have beautiful butterflies all over her walls and she said it made her room feel magical. We want to produce that same magic for her here at the shelter. These pink and purple butterflies would really light up Denice's face each time she entered her room and help her feel comfortable in her home away from home.
