Colton wants the simplest of pleasures - to pick out his own deoderant, shampoo, and toothpaste. Too long has this simple choice been taken from him. It would mean the world to get to have this "power" to take control over a tiny piece of his own life.
Colton is 20 years old and lives in IN
Colton has been in care since he was only 6 years old. He has seen his siblings get adopted out, but his trauma was too much for those families to cope with. Colton is hopeful he will one day get adopted, though he will age out of the system soon. After years of struggling, much therapy and rehabilition, Colton is stable today and leading a mostly typical teenage existence. He likes to watch action movies, play video games, cheer on his favorite sports teams (especially the Indianapolis Colts), and listens to music to calm himself and feel grounded.
