A New Bike for Sammy whose bike was stolen

Sammy loves to ride his bike to hang out with friends and help his foster parents. Recently, Sammy's BMX bike was stolen from him while he was shopping. This was extremely devastating to Sammy because his mother had bought him the bike. In addition to the emotional loss, Sammy used his bike as his main form of transportation in the community. HE has shared being able to get on his bike to visit friends, go shopping or just relax gives him a sense of freedom and independence. Granting Sammy's wish will help restore his ability to relax through riding his bike and restore his independence. Additionally, Sammy will be able to resume positive, active socialization with his peers.
Sammy is 21 years old and lives in CA
Sammy has been in foster care for two years. He has been separated from his siblings who are also in the system. Sammy has shown he is able to get along with both peers and adults and is a respectful young man. One of Sammy's favorite things to do is ride his bike. He rides to the park, meets with his friends, does tricks, and also uses it when he is helping his foster parents run errands, such as small grocery shopping trips. Sammy also loves to interact with others and make them laugh. He is a true comedian at such a young age. On top of Sammy's hobbies, he is extremely active at his high school. He is a member on their track and field team and has won medals at almost every meet.
