Jamal is a kind and caring young man who has had to face some tough challenges throughout his life. Jamal has been in several foster placements since he was a child. Despite his challenges, Jamal works hard to overcome and be the best version of himself he can be including being a great big brother to his younger siblings. Jamal loves to be outside riding his bike and skateboard. Jamal has some special needs which can make it more difficult for him to make and keep friends, as well as have typical experiences many teenagers have such as having a job or driving. Jamal is extremely excited to go to overnight camp for the first time EVER and get to meet lots of new friends and have a new experience before he turns 18. Jamal is looking forward to gaining some independence by going to camp, and getting to enjoy lots of outdoor activities like canoeing and campfires.
