Nylasha has grown significantly in independence in her resource home, and has increased communication and self-regulation skills. She is learning how to articulate her feelings, and she has learned how to play and interact with other children. She does well behaviorally in “school” (Head Start), and is caring toward her peers. She likes to play games and color and go swimming/play outside. She is gentle with the resource family’s pets, and she is a pleasant child. Nylasha has some special needs related to development and behavior. She receives BHRS services through a local provider, and also has support through the IU13 and a trauma play therapist. Nylasha’s resource parents describe her as having a good sense of humor and being caring toward her younger siblings, and being athletic.

Nylasha's resource family is taking her and her siblings to Disney for a family vacation! Nylasha is so excited to finally be able to go to the most magical place on earth and meet some of her favorite characters!!!
