Desmond is a great kid. He is currently trying out for the school basketball team and plays football. Although he has been through so much throughout his life he has remained to stay positive and strive to be the best he can be. Desmond has two younger siblings and he constantly is trying to do things for them and make sure that they are okay.

In December, One Simple Wish threw an epic Sibling Reunification Christmas Party, where the children were given the opportunity to spend a few un-interrupted hours of hugs, giggles, breakfast, dancing, crafts, desserts, and their super special wishes with their siblings! They were all so excited to spend the morning with their siblings that nothing else mattered. It was a very emotional day for One Simple Wish, Oaks Integrated Care, and all of our wonderful volunteers. The children were all so excited to be able to spend time with their siblings before the holidays. As an added surprise, we decided to send them all to Sahara Sam’s for a fun filled day at the water-park with their siblings this summer! Each child will be so surprised when they find out they are going to Sahara Sam’s and even more surprised when they find out their siblings are going with them! We can not wait to see the looks on their faces!
