Kayla is a former foster care youth who is currently enrolled in college. After Kayla earns her associate’s degree, she plans to pursue a degree and career in nursing. In addition to be a full-time student, Kayla works with youth in after school and summer programs, which is employment that she has continuously held for the past seven years. She recently found out that she will soon be getting her own apartment, so she is excited about living independently as she works toward achieving her goals and dreams!
